Our two boys have stayed with Lynne & Ian for a lot of years now for a minimum of two/three weeks stay each time at least twice a year. This time they stayed just over six weeks, I wasn’t worried at all because the boys love staying with Lynne & Ian and they always come home with no stress or anxiety but I was upset with leaving them for such a long time and was going to miss them like crazy. Lynne & Ian were amazing they kept sending me photos of my babies for reassurance and by the look of it they weren’t missing us at all. We would always recommend sending your fur babies to stay with Lynn & Ian they are the most caring, kind hearted people we know, who spoil our boys rotten.
Although Oorkjies and Leila are happy to be home, I know they have 5 * care at Appletree cottage. Not only can I relax knowing they are having the best care but I also know they are having a holiday too. I have boarded my girls here several times and would not take them anywhere else.! A very big THANK YOU to Lynne and Ian for taking such good care of my girls

Best cattery ever….. We have 3 cats that have been on their holidays here since we moved to Scarborough over 2 years ago, would not allow them to stop anywhere else now (Although we did once due to holiday commitments and hated every second, we change our holidays around theirs). Lovely people who love my elderly Persian, nothing is ever too much and they even wash the cat basket blankets due to us having a beautiful tabby cat that never tends to travel well

My two cats have just been on holiday here for a week. I was worried about leaving them as this was the first time. I had no need to be worried, I was able to contact Appleetree to check they had settled in and had a quick reply to put me at ease. When I came to pick my cats up they were chilled and happy in the environment. The owners are also welcoming and caring towards all the cats that are staying there. I would definitely recommend, even for cats that like the outdoors as they have an outdoor area.

Was worried about leaving Ruby and Dexter as they have never been in a Cattery before, I needn’t have, they were fine and no stress when they came back, I received a lovely post from them with pics of the cats in the middle of our holiday which was lovely!! Would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

Appletree cottage cattery is the best in the area,We always take Fizz here and she enjoys it so much that she never wants to come home. The cats are well looked after and the pens are so clean you could eat your dinner off of the floor,and it always smells so nice. Well worth the money In my opinion. Give it a try,I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed.Be sure to book your moggy in in good time as they do get very busy.
Appletree cottage took our cats Ronnie and Bane very last minute due to house move..we had never used them before. Unforeseen circumstances meant they were on holiday with Linda for nearly 6weeks..Ronnie had a trip to the vets in this time for a mild illness and Lynne took him there herself and kept me updated in the days after. During a flying visit to the cattery to pay she insisted I bring my two young children in to the cattery to see our cats which did us a world of good. On collection our cats were in perfect condition and had been well cared for as if we’re Lynne’s own. Such clean and airy areas for the cats to chill and sleep..smelt fresh and clean. Highly recommended and Ronnie and bane will be back one day for sure. THANK YOU LYNNE. XX

Appletree really take care of my cat Tink when she stays with them. Tink can be a nervous cat, but she is quite happy to stay there and always looks so cosy when we pick her back up.
Highly recommended! They took great care of Leo while we were off on holiday and we’ve just booked him for his second stay. They’re very prompt with booking and send lovely pictures of your cat playing while you’re away. Will continue to use them 
We’ve just used Appletree Cottage for the first time and we will definitely be back! They took fantastic care of Henry, and really got to know him ? The Cattery itself is spotlessly clean and run by such friendly people. Who could ask for more? Thanks again Lynne a and Ian, from Henry xx
